Video: Cubavera's Luis Toro Breaks Down the Inspiration Behind Perry Ellis International's New Men's Fashion Line

We sat down with director of marketing for Cubavera Luis Toro who broke down the inspiration behind Perry Ellis International's new line of men's clothing. He also talked about the spiritual meaning behind his work. The brand name is a play on the name of a traditional Latin American shirt, known as the Guayabera, and also the phrase "Vero Cuba," meaning "true Cuba."

Our monthly contributor Annie Vazquez, a.k.a. Annie The Alchemist, also happened to be in town and chimed in as well.

The line includes shirts of 100% linen, 100% cotton and linen/rayon blends, as well as woven light sweaters and polos. Bottoms include linen drawstring pants and dress pants.

Women's March on Washington D.C.

Check out some #BTS photos of our trip to Washington D.C. to march with women from all around the world. We are grateful to have been a part of such a historical day and couldn't be more proud to be Americans. We will continue to stand in unity and work toward the greater good, as Latinas, feminists and brujas.
